Thumbs-up, thumbs-down; it's your choice

Thumbs-up and thank you to the honest person who found my checkbook at the H-E-B Plus recently. It restores my faith that there are still honest people in this world. Blessings to you.
Thumbs-up and a big thanks to the Victoria Police Department and the Special Crime Unit Team for their successful strategy and philosophy in tackling complaints and reducing crime. Beware to those who deal illegal drugs, buy, sell, distribute drugs, steal, violate others, and to those involve in prostitution, and to those who do anything to satisfy themselves, who do not care for others, or their neighborhoods. Kudos to our city police, county sheriff's office, Department of Public Safety and to all the citizens who call and report crimes to the police.
Thumbs-up to Police Chief Craig for the battle against drugs in Victoria. This should have happened years ago. Keep it up.
Thumbs-down to the extra-loud horn blowing trains at 1:45-2:45 a.m. and so on off the 2000 block of Navarro. Midnight to 6 a.m. should be quiet time. No trains allowed in city limits at that time. Common sense isn't common anymore.
Thumbs-down to the Victoria Advocate for using really old file photos of elected officials and prominent Victorians in current articles.
Thumbs-down to Obama and Eric Holder for refusing to give files and tapes to Congress regarding Operation Fast and Furious. Democrats get away with anything. An example is Clinton. Nixon had to resign.
