The Victoria Generals will play a 60-game schedule in the 2013 Texas Collegiate League season.

The league will include six teams in the upcoming season, as the Alexandria Aces will not participate as their stadium undergoes improvements.

Alexandria is expected to return for the 2014 season and the TCL is planning to add an expansion team to the current field of Victoria, the Brazos Valley Bombers, East Texas Pump Jacks, Texas Marshals and The Woodlands Strykers.

The Generals will open the season with a four-game road trip, starting on Thursday, May 30 against The Woodlands.

The Generals will make their home debut on Tuesday, June 4 at Riverside Stadium against the Texas Marshals.

The season will again be divided into two halves, with the first- and second-place teams in the first half gaining the top two seeds in the playoffs.

The TCL's All-Star Game will be played on Tuesday, July 9 at a location to be announced. The All-Star Game was played in Victoria last season.

The Generals advanced to the championship series last season before losing to Brazos Valley.
