Residents display ugly Christmas sweaters

We hear about it.

We see it in the stores. We wonder, "Why would anyone want to buy it, let alone wear it?"

Then we see it out in public and realize people actually own these unsightly things.

You guessed it. It's the dreaded ugly Christmas sweater.

People wear them to be part of the season and to spread Christmas cheer.

This year we gathered photos of people celebrating the season and actually wearing - in public - their ugly Christmas sweaters. The season garb included Christmas lights complete with a light socket; decorated reindeer, dancing snowmen, very large Christmas trees; a string of stockings and gingerbread men.
