PORT LAVACA - The Safety Council of the Texas Mid-Coast will have an occupational medical service partnership with Twin Fountain Medical Clinics beginning in June.
The facility is set to open in June in Port Lavaca at 3731 state Highway 35 South and will offer a variety of occupational services.
The occupational health services will be under the direction of Andrea O'Neil, a Port Lavaca resident. The facility will offer drug testing, pre-employment and medical surveillance exams, respirator fit testing and hearing and vision testing.
For five years, Twin Fountains, under the direction of Dr. John McNeill, has provided medical and occupational health services in Victoria and the Crossroads.
The two clinics in Victoria offer primary care, urgent care and occupational health services.
Joni Brown, executive director of the safety council, said she is excited about the partnership and the new facility.
"We look forward to opening our facilities in June to serve our community and region," she said.
