Police investigate reports of shots fired; no one injured

Police responded to reports of shots being fired near Louis and Levi streets at 4 p.m. Thursday.

A woman sitting in a passenger seat of a vehicle in the 2300 block of Louis Street told police her vehicle was fired at between four and eight times, said Victoria Police Lt. Michael Tatum.

The patrol officers did not find any casings near the scene, and no one was injured.

Several witnesses said they heard the gun shots but gave several conflicting descriptions of the vehicle the shots came from, he said.

The incident remains under investigation.
