The city of Cuero and the Cuero Development Corporation will host a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting, to discuss Cuero's future growth, will be at The Venue, 125 E. Church St.
Residents, business owners and other community members are invited to participate to offer ideas and express ambitions for the city's future.
The meeting is an early step in preparing a long-range plan to help guide the decisions of both the city council and the CDC Board.
Items to be considered will be types, patterns and directions of future growth, location and timing of annexation projects, needed water, wastewater and drainage improvements and quality of life enhancements such as parks, sidewalks and beautification projects.
Identified needs will then be prioritized and incorporated into a strategy and improvement project for the community.
Once the information is gathered and needs identified and prioritized, the community will be able to review the draft plan on the city's website or at the City Administration Building.
The final plan is scheduled for presentation to the city council and the CDC Board in November.
