The Victoria Rotary Club is the sponsor of the EarlyAct FirstKnight program at DeLeon Elementary School. Students from this program have initiated an international service project, which is to provide support to Saint Isabel's Children's Charity, which focuses on helping low-income families, orphans and children at risk, in and around Luanda, Angola.

Leslie Huehlefeld, Roger's wife, is employed at DeLeon Elementary and both Roger and Leslie have taken a personal interest in this international service project. Roger has facilitated transportation of items collected by the students, such as school supplies, flip-flops, soaps, washcloths, toothpaste, hairbrushes, shampoos and other personal hygiene items as well as various toys to the Children's Charity when he travels to Angola for business.

Nalco has been so impressed with the efforts of the students and the Huehlefelds that they have committed funds on a routine basis for the Saint Isabel's Children's Charity.

Art Calvo, president of the Victoria Rotary Club, left, is shown with Roger and Leslie Huehlefeld.
