A Victoria man remained hospitalized Wednesday night following a two-vehicle wreck near the intersection of North Navarro Street and Sam Houston Drive.

Josh DeLaRosa, 35, was driving a 1993 Harley Davidson Springer on Sam Houston Drive about 7:30 a.m., and turned right onto North Navarro to make a left turn into Gold's Gym Express.

Victoria Police Department Senior Patrol Officer Herschel Buck said DeLaRosa was attempting to make an unsafe left turn into parking lot, when his motorcycle was struck by a black, 2010 CR-V, driven by Chelsea Ganaway, 26, of Victoria.

Ganaway was driving north on Navarro in the inside lane when the wreck occurred.

Police officers shut down two lanes of Navarro Street for about 30 minutes to clear the wreckage. The street was reopened about 8 a.m.

Allan's Wrecker towed the motorcycle from the scene.

DeLaRosa was listed in stable condition at Citizens Medical Center, a spokeswoman said.

Ganaway was uninjured.

Buck said no citations were issued.
