Two men were taken to Citizens Medical Center early Monday morning following a two-vehicle crash on Airline Road at Zac Lentz Parkway.

One of the cars, a 1999 Jeep Wrangler driven by Brian McMullen, 17, of Victoria, rolled over onto its top following the collision, said Victoria Fire Department Battalion Chief Roger Hempel.

The crash occurred about 3 a.m., when a 2006 Nissan Altima traveling south, driven by John Miller, 22, of Victoria, attempted to turn onto Airline Road from the loop.

The Nissan made a wide right turn into the opposite lane on Airline Road, hitting the Jeep as it was traveling east on Airline.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. No citations were issued, said Victoria Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Eline Moya.

Both men were treated and released from the hospital.
