Jury begins deliberations in injury to a disabled person trial

Deliberations began Wednesday afternoon in the case against Yoakum resident Ronald Wayne Wagner.
Wagner, 52, is charged with injury to a disabled individual, a third-degree felony. The trial began Wednesday morning.
Wagner is charged with striking the victim with his hands in September.
He is represented by defense attorney Brent Dornburg.
Victoria County District Judge Stephen Williams presided over the case.
The Victoria County District Attorney's Office is prosecuting the case.
