Edna Christian Academy hosting registration
July 13, 2012 at 2:13 a.m.
Edna Christian Academy will host registration for the 2012-13 school year on July 20 - 21.
Registration will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on July 20 and from 1 to 5 p.m. on July 21.
ECA's self-instructional, individually prescribed program provides children in kindergarten - beginning at age 4 - through grade 12 with back-to-basics education in a Christian atmosphere. The private school teaches Biblical morals and ethics and offers a consistent one-on-one teacher-pupil ratio in a high-tech environment.
ECA is fully accredited by AdvancED, meaning the school adheres to AdvancED's education standards and uses them as a tool for ongoing self-assessment. The school has graduated five students since opening in 2000, and more than 20 students attend ECA.
A diagnostic testing fee of $75 for all new students is due at registration. Additionally, the first month's tuition for new students is due at diagnostic testing, which will be July 23-24.
Students who attend ECA are required to wear uniforms, which are also ordered during registration.
A late fee of $125 applies for all students who register after July 21.
ECA is housed in the fellowship hall of the First Pentecostal Church of Edna, 807 Apollo Drive.
