Two men charged with the April 24 shooting death of Jerry Paul James III, 37, outside his Victoria apartment were arrested on additional charges Friday.

Dedrick Roy Bonner, 18, and Donnell Deshaun Dilworth Jr., 22, both of Victoria, were charged with capital felony murder by terror and felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

They were initially charged with murder in James's death and attempted murder in the shooting and wounding of James'' girlfriend Allaceia "Lacy" Stepheny.

The shooting occurred outside James' Regency Studio apartments after an argument with two men. Police said the shooters believed James had snitched on them.
