One of the greatest perks of being a delegate to the State GOP Convention is the opportunity to meet and speak with elected officials and candidates for various offices. As a Victoria County delegate, I would be remiss if I did not relay to the Republican voters what an opportunity they have before them in the July 31 runoff election.
Greg Parker is a Comal County Commissioner who deserves your support for Railroad Commissioner. Parker understands the delicate balance that exists between environmental responsibility, individual liberty, and sensible public policy that fosters a healthy business climate. During my conversation with Greg Parker, the outpouring of knowledge of the issues and enthusiasm was undeniable. Most politicians don't impress me at all, but this young man shattered that standard. Upon my asking him to explain why he deserved my vote, Parker immediately began talking of innovative ways to streamline and modernize the RRC.
The RRC has direct oversight of the type of work that I do, and I proudly and strongly endorse Greg Parker to the office of Railroad Commissioner. Join me in placing a good man with the right vision on the Texas Railroad Commission.
