AARP Chapter 829- Victoria met May 29 for its regular meeting.

Dr. Efren Diaz DeLeon, president, introduced the members of the panel that spoke about services available when extra care is needed as we age.

Topics discussed were advance directives, power of attorney, living wills, home health care, hospice care, assisted living and being home bound. The trend of the future is to keep people in their own homes whenever possible. When changes need to be made it is wise to know what is available.
