Thumbs-up, thumbs-down; it's your choice

Thumbs-up to the AEP workers who worked until 10 p.m. to replace a transformer on Castleway Street to get us our cool air back for night time.
Thumbs-up to the Victoria Advocate for their great coverage of the "Texas Water Safari." It was so exciting and interesting. The day-by-day accounting of happenings was superb. We could feel the pain of such a trip ourselves. Thank you so much for a great accounting of a yearly event, and also all the pictures that made the articles so real.
Thank you for very good coverage!
Thumbs up to Invisible Fence Brand of Greater Houston for donating 5 pet oxygen masks to our Victoria Fire Department. This will help our pets get fresh air after being caught in fires. Thank you from all of us pet lovers!
Thumbs-down to motorcycle drivers who ignore the speed limits. I've traveled up and down Navarro and the Houston Highway for 13 years, and it seems to me motorcycles are exempt from our speed laws. When I'm driving the speed limit, they blow by me like I'm sitting still, weaving in and out of traffic with no concern for safety. Very seldom do I see one of those two-wheelers pulled over. Why?
