A Victoria woman was hospitalized when her vehicle's tire blew causing it to strike an electric pole at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The wreck occurred when Rachel Morris, 20, was driving her green GMC sport utility vehicle east in the 1000 block of East Mockingbird Lane. The front left tire blew out causing the vehicle to veer across the westbound lane of traffic and strike the electric pole, said Victoria Police Patrol Officer Chris Case.
Morris was taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro where she was listed in stable condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The wreck remains under investigation.
