The free First Flights event in honor of Women of Aviation Worldwide Week was canceled Saturday at two regional airports because of bad weather.

The classes were scheduled Sunday at the Victoria Regional Airport and the Calhoun County Airport.

Organizers say the classes tentatively are rescheduled Sunday at both locations.

Weather permitting, flights will occur between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Calhoun County Airport and from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Victoria Regional Airport.

Organizers said they want participants to have a safe and enjoyable experience. They also said if weather conditions do not improve, the event will be canceled and not rescheduled.
