The Texas Department of Transportation will install a four-way stop sign at the intersection of U.S. Highway 87 and state Highway 72, outside of Cuero, on Wednesday.
The all-way stop sign will be installed to support motorist safety and relieve congestion on the state highway.
Rumble strips, flashing beacons and temporary changeable message signs will be installed to make motorists aware of the stop ahead.
Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully through the intersection and observe all signs.
