Two illegal immigrants detained after Lavaca County traffic stop

Two illegal immigrants were detained Wednesday morning after a traffic stop in Lavaca County.
The two men from Mexico, ages 27 and 22, were turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon.
The traffic stop by Lavaca County Sheriff's Office deputies occurred about 8:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 77 near the DeWitt and Lavaca county lines, said the sheriff.
