Jaguars split doubleheader against LSU-Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, La. - The University of Houston-Victoria and LSU-Alexandria split a doubleheader on Saturday.

The Jaguars won the first game 6-2 and the Generals came back to take an 8-5 win in the second game.

LSU-Alexandria won three of four games in the series and improved to 11-17. UHV dropped to 8-17.

The Jaguars were scheduled to travel to Austin for a doubleheader against St. Edward's on Tuesday.

But those games have been canceled. UHV and St. Edward's will play a single game Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Austin.
