Best Musician: Jarrod Birmingham

Jarrod Birmingham was surprised and flattered to win his first Best of the Best. He's earned Best Of Texas Top 30 songs of the year with his "No Apologies" album.

The Advocate's readers voted him the best musician.

The Inez resident is a real cowboy and a former professional bullrider.

Music is in his blue jeans. His grandfather was a musician.

"I've been blessed with a bloodline of having a musical family," he said.

The song "Like My Daddy Did" is a fan favorite.

Birmingham began singing professionally 10 years ago, but he's been a lifelong fan of music in general.
