Houstonians love their football team, and rumor has it, there are new fans in Victoria since local twins Dresdynn and Schuyler Warnell are on the Houston Texans cheerleading squad.

While watching the games, we can see the Texans Cheerleaders have a style of their own.

As we approach new cheerleader tryouts in April, girls all over Texas are preparing their wardrobe for the big day.

Think you have what it takes to become a Houston Texans Cheerleader? Follow some savvy tips to help you on your way.

Schuyler Warnell gives a quick tip to hopefuls trying out this year:

"Go into tryouts - or whichever team it may be - with confidence. Confidence is the key that will set you apart from the rest," she said.

You have to stand out and look unique. Choose a dance costume that is easy to move in and, most importantly, stand out in. Select a color that best complements your hair color and skin tone.

Tryouts are April 14 at the Methodist Training Center.
