Crossroads residents have the chance to meet with two visiting congressmen Saturday morning.
Blake Farenthold and Kevin McCarthy will brief the public at 9 a.m. Saturday during a breakfast at the Victoria Country Club, spokesman Steve Ray said.
The visit is a chance for them to hear where people from District 27 stand on various issues and to offer their input, he said.
"They are there to listen to the people of Victoria," Ray said, noting they will also discuss issues such as the new healthcare bill, the economy and high gas prices. "I think it's a very neat thing for Victoria County."
Saturday's event is open to the public. While donations are welcome, they are not required for entry.
