Editor, the Advocate:
If we're talking about personal hygiene, then an "earthy, musty smell" would be offensive to lots of folk. Remedy: Take a shower.
However, with a steady state "earthy, musty smell" generating sewage treatment plant that could continue for the next "50 or 100 years" and possibly affect three or more generations; that calls for a complete re-evaluation of the impact on all neighborhoods and a serious consideration of locating this facility in a area well outside of all neighborhoods. May I suggest considering areas North of Hwy 59, since the "earthy, musty smell" is not a "big deal." As beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so to is no big deal "earthy, musty" in the nose of the smeller? Let's stop dumping the offensive stuff on the South end of town for a change.
