Daughter of Victoria couple graduates from Southwestern University

Karyl Elizabeth Fowler, of Georgetown, recently participated in the 2012 Commencement Convocation of Southwestern University where she received the degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Arts in English.  While at Southwestern University, she completed several internships including work with the United Way of Williamson County, the Williamson County Attorney's Office and the Texas State Capitol in Austin serving in the office of Representative Charles Schwertner, of Georgetown.  In addition, she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and studied abroad in London and Costa Rica. Fowler is the daughter of Dale and Dana Fowler, of Victoria, and the granddaughter of Bill and Olinda Kelly, of Victoria, and Jim and Betty Fowler, of Edna.  She is a 2009 graduate of Victoria Memorial High School.
