Two Step Dance Hall & Lounge has updated its dress code.

Forward-facing caps and hats, as well as cowboy hats, are now allowed at the 4106 Houston Highway business, according to a company news release. Men can also wear nice, collarless shirts, including dress T-shirts.

Athletic shoes are allowed if "appropriate for an upscale environment," according to the release.

Two Step introduced the changes based on experience and guest feedback, Bryant Price, president and CEO of Texas Country Entertainment, said in the news release. Texas Country Entertainment is Two Step's parent company.

"We established our dress code to help create a classy and safe nighttime entertainment experience for the people in Victoria and the surrounding area," Price said. "When it comes to attire, we really just ask people to dress nice and classy, not worn-out and shabby."

Men must still wear long pants, and rules forbid weapons and disallow excessively baggy clothing and visible undergarments. Two Step management has the final say when it comes to attire.
