I am the treasurer for the Jane Bernal Campaign Fund, and I am inviting my fellow voters and family to support my niece, Jane Bernal, for tax assessor/collector on May 29. Jane is the type of person who has a deep respect for the position, and she understands the responsibility that comes to honor such a commitment to the community. What she will do is serve us, the citizens of Victoria, with 21st century technology and educated wisdom. She will show respect not only to the citizens but to her fellow co-workers if she is elected, as she does in her present job today. It is time for a positive change.
I have also known Annie Ramos for many years and hold a deep respect for her and know that she will represent Precinct 1 as county commissioner with her proven spirited past experience as a justice of the peace. Mrs. Ramos has the acumen that Victoria needs.
I was privileged to meet Richard "Richie" Williams who is running for county constable of Precinct 1. He seeks the position ardently; he will be a very devoted constable for our area by his demeanor, logical plans and strong drive to serve the community.
