I worked with Danny Garcia at TXDOT for more than 30 years, I am confident in his abilities to lead Precinct 1 and Victoria County as a whole. Danny and I worked together 25 years building highways in Victoria, Jackson and Calhoun counties. Danny then transferred to TXDOT's Headquarters Construction Division in Austin, where he helped to develop and implement a statewide training program for young engineers and inspectors. After the initial startup, Danny was able put a team together to help him implement the program. After 31 years, he retired and began his quest to become county commissioner. He's always looking for ways to make improvements to make things better.
He will dedicate this same type of energy to make Precinct 1 the best in Victoria County.
I know this because I was a part of Danny's team at TXDOT's headquarters. On May 29, voters in Precinct 1 have an opportunity to elect a person with great qualities and credentials to be their county commissioner.
