Thursday final day of annual quilt exhibit
May 30, 2012 at 12:30 a.m.
Thursday is the final day to see the annual Quilt Guild of Greater Victoria's exhibit at the Victoria Public Library.
This year's exhibit, for the first time, includes king-sized quilts in addition to the traditional full and queen-sized ones.
Another first is the inclusion of art quilts from the Studio Art Quilt Association.
In addition to quilts, exhibit cases display antique, vintage and modern versions of a variety of sewing tools and notions used to turn pieces of fabric into quilts like those on display.
The library, 302 N. Main St., is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
