Thank you for teaching kids to be polite

Editor, the Advocate:
I had occasion last week to help serve supper to 35 members of the Calhoun Sandcrabs football team. It has been a long time since I've been around that many teenagers who were as polite, well-mannered and well-behaved as those young men were. I'm sure most of the credit for their good behavior goes to their parents, but apparently their teachers and coaches are also making a big impact on them. They certainly know how to conduct themselves in public. Our community has more than one reason to cheer and be proud of this team.
So, parents, teachers and coaches of the Sandcrab football team, thank you for your success with these gentlemen, and keep up the good work. I was impressed.
