The three people taken to Victoria hospitals in Tuesday night's wreck on John Stockbauer Drive all escaped serious injury.

Jason Smith, 27, of Victoria, was treated and released from DeTar Hospital Navarro, a hospital spokesman said.

Elissa Kubicek, 21, of Inez, and Camilo Hernandez Jr., 49, of Victoria, were treated and released from Citizens Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.

At about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Hernandez was traveling south in the 3400 block of North John Stockbauer Drive in a 2009 Ford F-150 when a 2009 Dodge Ram, driven by Smith, turned onto the street from Timberlane Drive, according to a Victoria Police Department report.

Smith failed to yield the right of way, causing Hernandez's truck to strike Smith's, according to the report.

Kubicek was a passenger in Smith's truck.

Hernandez was issued a citation for expired driver's license.
