Cara Jansa and Brandon Jarisch, both of Abilene, were married at 5 p.m. on July 6, 2012 at The Cactus Hotel in San Angelo. Deacon Dan Shannahan, of San Angelo, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sandra and Leonard Jansa, of San Angelo. She is the granddaughter of Virgie Jansa and the late Alfon Jansa, of Ballinger, and Frank K. and Mary Havlak, of Wall.
The groom is the son of Phyllis and Daren Jarisch. He is the grandson of Tom and Greta Seitz, of Palestine, Tom Kyle and the late Mignyonne Kyle, of Mathis, Mary Ann Jarisch and the late Harvey Jarisch, of Victoria.
Robyn Gallant, of Abilene, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leslie Cook, of Topeka, KS, friend of the bride, Landa Turnbow, of San Angelo, friend of the bride, and Springer Jansa, of San Angelo, sister-in-law of the bride. Reese Gallant and Bree Gallant, both of Abilene, nieces of the bride, attended as flower girls. Readings were given by Kelly Jarisch, of Austin.
Colton Jarisch, of Austin, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Wischkaemper, of Austin, friend of the groom, Clay Jansa, of Fort Worth, brother of the bride, and Ryan Jansa, of San Angelo, brother of the bride. Nolan Wischkaemper, of Victoria, and Nolan Jansa, of San Angelo, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearers.
Ushers were Andy Gallant, of Abilene, brother-in-law of the bride, Jake Gallant, of Abilene, nephew of the bride, and Cody Garcia, friend of the groom.
A reception was held following the ceremony at The Cactus Hotel in San Angelo. The couple will reside in Abilene.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Wall High School. She received a BS from Angelo State University, BJ in CLS from Texas Tech University, and a MS in CPM from Texas Tech University. She is employed by Hendrix Medical Center in Abilene as a Medical Technologist in Transfusion.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Memorial High School and a graduate of the Medical Lab Technician Program at Victoria College. He is also a graduate candidate of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah with a Bachelor Degree in Medical and Laboratory Science. He is employed by Hendrix Medical Center in Abilene as a Medical Technologist.
