Victoria Independent School District is investigating a complaint filed by three parents regarding the conduct of a Rowland Magnet Elementary School physical education substitute teacher with their children.

Spokeswoman Diane Boyett said the parents approached Rowland principal James Taylor on Friday and filed a complaint with the school.

Boyett said she could not comment about the details of the complaint.

"The school immediately began an investigation when the complaint was made," said Boyett, noting that information is being compiled from several sources. "The Victoria Sheriff's Office is simultaneously conducting an investigation" on the matter.

Boyett said the teacher would not be invited back to the school during the investigation.
