Cuero woman, 20, killed when car strikes tree in Gonzales County

A 20-year-old Cuero woman died and three others were injured after a one-car crash in Gonzales County early Sunday morning.
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Jane Rocha was pronounced dead at the scene by Gonzales County Justice of the Peace Deidra Voigt after the crash about 4:15 a.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 2067, seven miles west of U.S. Highway 183, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety report released Monday.
Rocha was driving a 1999 Toyota west on the farm road when it left the roadway and struck a tree, according to the report. She was wearing a seat belt.
Injured in the crash were Ashley Nicole Garza, 21, of Victoria; Andrea Mills, 25, of Victoria; and Bianca Villa, 19, of Cuero.
All were wearing seat belts, according to the DPS report.
As of Monday afternoon, Mills was listed in good condition and Villa was listed in fair condition at University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Garza's condition was not available.
