Twin brothers were transported to separate hospitals Friday afternoon after an argument ended in a knife fight.
Police got the call just before 4 p.m., after one brother reportedly stabbed the other in the neck in the 1300 block of South Wheeler Street, said Lt. Ralph Buentello.
Kevin King, 47, of Victoria, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to a Victoria County Sheriff's Office official. He was in the Victoria County Jail on Friday night.
A spokeswoman at Citizens Medical Center said Kevin King was treated for head lacerations and released.
Rodney Lacy, a neighbor, called police after Kevin King came to his house. He was bleeding from a head wound.
"He told me his brother hit him in the head with a bottle because he was mad at him for not putting up the juice," Lacy said. "After that, he stabbed his brother, he said. I just heard his brother hollering down there like he was in pain."
Eric King, 47, the twin who was stabbed, was taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro with serious injuries, Buentello said.
He was in stable condition in a private room at 9:15 p.m. Friday, said a hospital spokeswoman.
