Early voters exceed 11,000

With two days left to vote early in the Nov. 6 election, more than 11,000 Victoria County residents have cast their votes.
So far, 11,118 people have voted, including the 1,081 who voted in person on Wednesday, according to a news release from the election administrator's office.
Also, 2,289 mailed ballots of the 2,613 requests, have been returned.
And 74 of the 144 ballots mailed to military and overseas residents have been returned.
So far, 26.7 percent of the county's 51,492 registered voters have voted.
Early voting ends Friday.
Voting continues from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the main early voting location, 111 N. Glass St; the Dr. Pattie Dodson Public Health Department, 2805 N. Navarro St.; the Victoria Mall - Inspiring Scents, 7800 N. Navarro St., and Bloomington Fire Station in Bloomington.
All ballots mailed to voters must be returned no later than 7 p.m. Tuesday by mail, by common or by contract carrier.
