EL CAMPO - El Campo stopped Foster on Friday, holding them offense to only 110 yards.

Friday was the 11th consecutive matchup between the teams. El Campo holds the edge in the 8-3 series record.

El Campo's Bryce Brandl threw for 101 yards with nine completed passes and rushed for 108 yards.

With 5:02 left in the first quarter, Brandle scored the game's first touchdown with a 14-yard run.

The Ricebirds scored again at the end of the second quarter with a 20-yard field goal by Alex Montes.

Then El Campo sealed the deal with 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter when Brandle completed a 31-yard pass to Cole Hunt.

Also for El Campo, Montray Johnson rushed for 101 yards.
