Kelly Marie Picha and Lance Weldon Thompson were married on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Sts Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner. The Rev. Robert Knippenberg officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Kelly is the daughter of Harvey & Irene Picha of Shiner. She is the granddaughter of Agnes Polasek and the late John Polasek, Mildred Picha and the late Edward Picha, Sr.

Lance is the son of Foster (Tom) and Ann Thompson of Gonzales. He is the grandson of the late James and Mary Robinson of Gonzales and the late Foster and Ella Mae Thompson of New York.

Bridesmaids were Diana Picha, sister in law of the bride, Kristal Thompson, sister of the groom, Becky Biehunko, Jenny Lassman, Debbie Long, Crystal Harris, Kari Mika, McKey Pavliska, all friends of the bride and Mikayla Picha and Jenny McCrummen, cousins of the bride.

Hannah Newman and Maddysyn Zella, nieces of the groom, served as the flower girls.

Foster Thompson, son of the groom, stood by Lance's side as his best man. Groomsmen were Michael Picha, James Picha, brothers of the bride, Ronnie Biehunko, Sr., Robert Ward, Ronnie Biehunko, Jr., Brandun Knocke, Jamie Long, and Brian Eggemeyer, all friends of the groom.

Ushers were Allen Dieringer, friend of the groom, John Picha, brother of the bride, and Edward Picha, cousin of the bride.

Acolytes were Alex and Collin Bujnoch.

Thank you to Allen Dieringer for being an awesome chauffer and driving the newlyweds in style in his 1947 Buick Super from the church to the reception.

Following the beautiful ceremony was a reception, dinner and dance at the Yoakum Community Center.

After a honeymoon in St. Lucia in the Carribean, Lance and Kelly are residing in Yoakum. Kelly is employed as a nurse at the Yoakum Community Hospital in the Outpatient Clinic. Lance is the owner of LTD Construction and Roofing.

Lance and Kelly want to thank their family and friends for being a part of their special day.
