Memorial grad sets A&M-Kingsville record for saves

LAWTON, Okla. - Memorial graduate Jeremy Flores now holds the Texas A&M-Kingsville record for career saves.

Flores pitched a perfect seventh inning in the Javelinas' 7-4 Lone Star Conference win over Cameron in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday.

Flores, a senior, now has seven saves on the season and 17 in his career, breaking the mark held by Juan Obregon.

Pacheco notches win

SEATTLE - Victoria West graduate Jordan Pacheco picked up his seventh win of the season in Texas-San Antonio's 8-4 Western Athletic Conference win at Seattle on Saturday at Bannerwood Park.

Pacheco pitched five innings in relief and improved to 7-1 for the Roadrunners.

He surrendered three runs, all coming in his final inning of work, four hits, walked two, hit a batter, and had two strikeouts.
