PREP ROUNDUP: Faith baseball drops 20 on S.A. Winston

SAN ANTONIO - Faith Academy scored 13 runs in the first half inning of play Friday night and cruised to a 20-0 win over San Antonio Winston.
The Cougars (8-7, 2-4) had four players drive in two or more runs, including Geoffrey Graff, who had three RBI.
While the offense was hot for Faith, the pitching and defense was just as good.
Lilo Garza gave up just two hits to Winston while also striking out three batters. Garza also was 2 for 2 at the plate with two RBI.
Along with Garza, Jake Garcia (1 for 1) and Jacob Nunez (2 for 3) had two runs batted in. Craig Hogan (1 for 1) and Josh Moya (2 for 2) each had one RBI.
Faith scored seven runs in the second to account for all 20 runs in the three-inning ballgame.
Victoria West 3, Calhoun 2
CALHOUN - Both Victoria West and Calhoun played errorless baseball Friday night, but a pair of runs in the top of the seventh gave the Warriors the edge in a 3-2 victory.
The Sandcrabs plated a run in the bottom half of the inning but couldn't push any more runs across home plate.
Calhoun took the lead earlier in the game with a single run in the third.
Cory Willemin took the win for West, pitching six innings while giving up just six hits and two strikeouts. Zach Cruz took the loss for Calhoun after pitching the entire game.
Grant McDaniel led the Warriors (11-12-1, 4-5) at the plate, going 2 for 3 with an RBI. Koby Bynum also had an RBI for West.
