Spring Cleanup day for Adopt-a Beach program

The 27th annual Spring Cleanup for the Texas General Land Office Adopt a Beach program will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at various sites along the Texas Gulf Coast.
Volunteers are asked to pick a site, register with the coordinator and come prepared to pick up trash.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear sunscreen, shoes, sunglasses and a hat. Bring plenty of drinking water and mosquito repellent.
Cleaning will occur rain or shine.
