Six students from Victoria, Cinco Ranch and Sugar Land exhumed replica skeletal remains and identified gender, age, time of death, cause of death and ethnicity.
The students are part of a new "Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology" class taught by Jeffrey Ricken, a podiatric surgeon and adjunct lecturer in the University of Houston-Victoria School of Arts and Sciences.
The class is offered to students pursuing the forensic and biomedical science concentration of the master of arts in interdisciplinary studies.
