Victoria West was on a modified lockdown for about 15 minutes Friday.
Diane Boyett said the school needed to clear the hallways of students for emergency workers to assist a sick student.
"It wasn't a big deal. We just needed the hallways to be clear of students so EMS could examine a child and load them on a gurney and take them to the hospital," Boyett said.
The lockdown was lifted when the first responders left campus.
