Vacation, all I ever wanted
Nathan Blohm had been to Port Aransas before, but as he grows older, it becomes more fun and much more appreciated.
The 4-year-old, son of Darren and Lisa Blohm, of Victoria, won the Advocate’s Best Vacation photo contest.
Nathan’s father said the family spent four days at the beach, enjoying the water, food and venues.
Nathan had the most fun posing with a live parrot at a local shop.
“He loved it,” his dad said. “He’s already asking when we’re going again.”
The Blohms won a $250 gift certificate to Torin Bales Fine Jewelry.
Glimpses of getaway greatness
The photos of you splashing into crisp, blue water and lounging on sun-filled beaches looked amazing.
It must be hard getting back to the daily grind after such relaxing vacations.
However, we are sure you can look back at these photos and remember the great times you had on your summer family vacation.
Not everything was beaches and water, though.
Some of you showed us photos of family just enjoying the outdoors and visiting sites that you've always wished to visit, which is great as well.
Think of this as your photo album, a chance for you to publish your fun-filled vacations for everybody to see. They make great keepsakes.
We can hardly wait to see what you all will show us next summer.
