After about 20 hours, the fire that destroyed a million-dollar home at 208 Creekridge Drive was put out.
The blaze started about 6 p.m. Friday in the attic of the home and was contained by midnight, said Victoria Assistant Fire Chief Tracy Fox.
Crews remained at the scene throughout the night to cool hot spots and returned at daybreak to continue controlling the burn. The fire, officially, was put out at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The cause is unknown, and an investigation is being led by the Victoria Fire Marshal's office.
