Thank you to Christmas angel for your honesty

Editor, the Advocate:

On Dec. 23, I went to H-E-B on Navarro to get last-minute groceries for the holidays. The parking lot was full, and the store was very busy.

I bought my groceries and drove home. While unloading my groceries, I realized I had left my purse in the basket. In a panic, I dialed my cellphone, which was in my purse. No answer. I was leaving to drive back to H-E-B when my phone rang. It was an H-E-B employee calling to say someone had turned in my purse.

When I picked up my purse from H-E-B, everything was still in it. Wow, I could not believe it.

H-E-B employees did not know who turned it in, so I cannot thank him/her personally, but I hope that person reads this so you will know how very much I thank you and appreciate your honesty. Whoever you are, you are my Christmas angel.
