Lady Titans clinch District 30-4A championship

PORT LAVACA - Victoria East clinched its second straight District 30-4A championship in convincing fashion Friday night.

The Lady Titans ran away with a 77-36 win over Calhoun.

Kamri Hardeman and Bre Williams each scored 17 points and Ramaya Dean had 14 for the Lady Titans, who improved to 20-9 overall and 10-1 in district.

McKenna Villegas scored 15 points for the Sandies.

West boys top T-M

CORPUS CHRISTI - Victoria West took over third place in District 30-4A with a 58-52 win over Tuloso-Midway on Friday night.

James Murphy scored 20 points for West, which overcame an eight-point halftime deficit.

Akeem Green scored 12 points and Darien Henry had 11 for West, which improved to 16-13 overall and 6-4 in district.

Tuloso-Midway (19-11) dropped to fourth place at 5-4.

West girls fall at T-M

CORPUS CHRISTI - Allyson Dlouhy and Kynsey Clark each scored nine points, but Victoria West dropped a 42-37 District 30-4A decision to Tuloso-Midway on Friday night.

West fell to 16-17 overall and 1-10 in district.

Cougars edged on road

SAN ANTONIO - Geoffrey Graff scored 19 points, but Faith Academy lost 52-51 to the Christian School of San Antonio in a TAPPS District 6-2A game on Friday night.

Jonathan Luck added 11 points for the Cougars (22-11, 5-2), who were tied at 21 at halftime.

CASA improved to 21-4 and 5-1 in district.

Lady Cougars win

SAN ANTONIO - Maegan Wilkinson and Sarah Alex each scored 11 points to lead Faith Academy to a 52-28 TAPPS District 6-2A win over the Christian School of San Antonio on Friday night.

Krischelle Alex added 10 points for the Lady Cougars, who improved to 21-13 on the season and 5-1 in district.
