Strong winds dominate Monday weather warnings

A red flag warning - indicating high fire danger - is in effect from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Strong winds will develop Monday morning and continue through the afternoon. The strongest winds should occur from midday through mid-afternoon.
The winds from the northwest are expected to be sustained from 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 to near 50 mph possible, according to the NWS.
Otherwise, the forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of showers before 9 a.m. Gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 67.
Clear Monday night with a low around 39. Northwest wind 19 to 24 mph decreasing to 13 to 18 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph Monday night.
