".And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."
- Genesis 1:2
Today, I am so thankful for dear friends and family who gave me ocean gifts.
I received great gifts like a needlepoint picture of the ocean and various lighthouses.
I also was given a key ring with a crab on it, warm socks and fishing shirts, lighthouse earrings, artificial bait and tackle items, three 2013 ocean calendars of all sizes and even more.
I have been waiting for the weather to clear up so I can use all of these wonderful fishing gifts to go fishing.
It is finally clear and pretty weather, and I am going fishing tomorrow.
As I look at the ocean and lighthouse picture, I am looking forward to tomorrow's fishing trip. I have to remind myself that just because I am not at the ocean, it is still there waiting with open, waving arms, and I will sing, "Hello Ocean, my old friend."
Dear Lord, I love the ocean because it is just like you, eternal; it has been here since the beginning of time and will be here at the end of time. Thank you also for my friends who know me so well that they give me ocean gifts, and You gave me the greatest gift of all, the real ocean.
