Thumbs-up to all the folks from the Crossroads area and beyond who visited Cuero's Christmas in the Park. Your generosity helps acquire new scenes and for upkeep of our scenes. You all help make our Christmas, and we hope it adds to yours also. We look forward to seeing you in November and December.
Thumbs-up to the VISD Board of Trustees for speaking out with one voice in their vote against vouchers that are being pushed by some legislators in Austin. An internationally known educator labeled vouchers as a shameful way to segregate students. No one wins in this scenario.

Thumbs-up to the growing karaoke crowd in the Crossroads. Music is a wonderful thing, and karaoke is a chance for anyone to get some time in the spotlight.
Thumbs-up to Mid-Coast Family Services, the American Red Cross Crossroads Chapter and all the community members who are helping the Sage Creek apartment residents displaced by fire.
Thumbs-up to the WaterWise Program sponsored by Victoria County Groundwater Conservation District, which will educate Victoria County students and their parents on ways to conserve water.
Thumbs-up to the Dream Big STEM career expo for showing Victoria students some of the careers they can aspire to.
Thumbs-up Martin Luther King Jr. and all the individuals who fought for civil rights. Thank you for working to bring equality to America.
Thumbs-down to cyberbullying. Any form of bullying is wrong, and we hope students will learn to respect one another instead of use vicious tactics to hurt and intimidate others.
